Gaming: Completed Game!

I've been on a role lately with my games. :D It didn't feel very long ago that I finished Tomb Raider Legend! But today I'm proud to say that I finished Mass Effect! \o/

Mass Effect
Completed: 3/3/2010

It has been a while since I completed a RP game and after completing ME it has definately reminded me how fun they can be. Although it has its flaws (DAMN that annoying MAKO! >.<) I loved the story and it has me squealing with excitement to play the second installment! :D I plan to come back to it soon and replay as a "badass" biotic (selecting all the evil options mwhaha) and replay again also with my now lvl 50 "Jess Shepard" to complete the rest of the achievements.

I've just this minute put in Fable 2. I got hooked on it a while back so I'm looking forward to playing again. (And having my cute furry pal!)

With my stitching, I've been trying my best to get cracking on the Wren picture for my parents. I still need to update my thread on the CrossStitchForum... *donks noggin* When I can remember to charge my phone lol..

Until next time, Happy gaming and stitching!

P.S: I had my romance on ME with Kaidan, and during the "infamous scene" he had the scariest popping out of the sockets eyes! O.O I'm surprised my Commander Shepard wasn't put off! xD

Gaming: Completed Game!

Tomb Raider Legend
Completed: 25/1/2010

I should have updated with this a month ago (when I actually completed it... ^^; ) but better late than never!
Although more action packed than Anniversary, it was still a ton of fun to play (although I did miss the whole "alone and in the middle of nowhere" feel). I would thoroughly recommend Tomb Raider Legend.

I'm now in the process of playing Mass Effect 1 (ME2 looks amazing!) Wrex and Kaidan are my squad members throughout and so far so good!

Stitching wise I'm a little attatched to this freebie Margaret Sherry kit that came in CrossStitcher a while back. It's a real cute design with 2 kitties on a swing. Awwh. :)

Happy gaming/stitching all!

It's Been a Long Time Blog..

And I feel sorry for my poor blog, getting neglected and all.. So here's a picture of a delicious cake to make up for it! Heheh :P

If only I could eat computer pixels.. *sigh*

Anyways back to business, here's a little recap on what I've been up to:

*I have caught the stitchy bug yet again and have been mostly stitching my Gardenia Bonsai.
*I've been playing Tomb Raider: Legend to follow my completion of Anniversary and so far I'm up to the sixth mission!
*I've also been playing Aion, and can safely say that I LOVE IT! Much more of a challenge than Warcraft. :)

Until the next update, happy stitching/gaming everyone!

Stitching: Mother's Day card for Mikes Mum

Just posting again to show you the card I helped Mike make for his mum this Mother's Day ^^ It was quite a rushed piece because he didn't know whether to make one or buy one until the last minute >_>
We know that she loves purple, so the card wasn't a hard choice. I picked and adapted a card design from Cross Stitch Gold magazine for the stitching.

Also, we brought some scales today :D So onward (and thin-ward lol) to weight loss!

Stitching: Mother's Day 09

Last night I started and completed this card I made for my mum for this Mother's Day :) <3

Close up

I got both the design and the font from CrossStitcher magazines. LOADS of backstitch >_> but I love the end result all the same ^^ Hope my mum likes it! I'll be posting it later.
