Stitching: Mother's Day card for Mikes Mum

Just posting again to show you the card I helped Mike make for his mum this Mother's Day ^^ It was quite a rushed piece because he didn't know whether to make one or buy one until the last minute >_>
We know that she loves purple, so the card wasn't a hard choice. I picked and adapted a card design from Cross Stitch Gold magazine for the stitching.


Also, we brought some scales today :D So onward (and thin-ward lol) to weight loss!

Last night I started and completed this card I made for my mum for this Mother's Day :) <3

I got both the design and the font from CrossStitcher magazines. LOADS of backstitch >_> but I love the end result all the same ^^ Hope my mum likes it! I'll be posting it later.

Eternity: Memory of Lightwaves

Its from Final Fantasy X-2. When you first load up the game, thats what you hear. Got me hooked to the game from the word go :) Plus it goes so well with just sitting in your favourite chair, with your stitching and the sun shining in the window. Bliss ^^

Stitching: Celebration Sampler (Update 3)

I've done some more to my Celebration Sampler! :D I completed 2 more boxes!

And the 5th box which had my little cross stitch person :) I changed the hair colour to match my own to black (I'm a little unsure about the backstitch however, but from afar it doesnt look so bad)

Her art may be very cartoony but her cuddly animals are so cute! :D She seemed to have done a range of "cuddly and fuzzy" animals which are my fave ^^

Here's my second WIP atm ^^ Its from DMCs Bird collection and is a picture of a cheery Wren :) I'm doing this one for my parents and already have the frame for it from Wilkos!

Hello Bloggers!!

Well I am very excited that I set up my very first blog!! :D I've always wanted to record my hobbies down in one place (plus I do prefer computerized version as opposed to a handwritten diary) so here it is! ^^
